Burrawong Ski Club is open all year round and caters for skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, bushwalking, trout fishing, bike riding and allows access to many other activities that can be enjoyed in the Snowy Mountains. The Club is located in the beautiful and unique environment of Charlotte Pass.
Burrawong allows for up to 20 occupants at any one time and is a self-help lodge. This means that you are obliged to do your own cooking and to share tasks around the Club premises.
The Club has a well equipped kitchen which includes in its facilities a commercial dishwasher, microwaves, ovens, freezer and large walk-in cool room. The Club provides some stores but each member and/or guest is obliged to bring their own supply of food. Please note that during the winter months, limited shopping facilities are provided within the Village.
The bedrooms at Burrawong cater for two or three occupants. The bedrooms do not have ensuites with the club providing separate men’s and women’s bathroom facilities.
During the winter months a linen service is supplied but members and guests are obliged to bring their own towels. During the summer months members and guests must bring their own bed linen and/or sleeping bags and their own towels.
Also during the winter months (subject to availability of cleaners), a cleaning service is provided. However, some tasks are still required to be carried out members and guests.
The Club boasts storage facilities for skis and snowboards, together with a drying room and laundry facilities.
For those members who bring infants to the Club, please be advised that you must supply your own cots and, if relevant, bed linen, high chair and any infant’s bath (if required). You will note that the use of these items is at the risk of the infant’s parents/guardians.
The Club has split lounge facilities incorporating a slow combustion fireplace and bar area. In addition, there is an outdoor deck with barbecue facilities. Burrawong boasts one of the best views in the Snowy Mountains.
